| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to analyze the association between nutrition knowledge with food consumption pattern and physical activity of students in Bogor Agricultural University. Design of this study was cross sectional with purposive sampling 80 students in nutrition science and forest management Bogor Agricultural University. Nutrition knowledge related degenerative disease in sample GIZ (79.3±9.5) was higher than MNH (39.3±17.1). The average frequency of consumption dietary fats, sweetened food, salty and preserved food, fast food, soft drink and caffeinated beverages in sample MNH (8.8±5.2; 2.1±3.7; 16.5±11.2; 7.9±2.2; 4.6±3.7; 3.6±4.2; 2.6±3.0) times/week was higher than sample GIZ (7.8±4.0; 0.9±1.3; 13.5±8.7; 4.1±2.8; 2.3±3.3; 1.3±2.6) times/week, respectively. However, the average vi frequency of consumption vegetables and fruits in the sample GIZ (18.6±12.5; 10.3±8.9) times/week was higher than sample MNH (15.0±11.5; 6.1±5.4) times/week, respectively. Physical activity levels of sample GIZ (1.56±0.21) was relatively similar to the MNH (1.59±0.19). Based on Spearman correlation, there was a significant correlation (p<0.05) between nutrition knowledge related degenerative disease with frequency of consumption salty and preserved food, vegetables, fruits, and caffeinated beverages. There was no significant correlation (p≥0.05) between nutrition knowledge related degenerative disease with frequency consumption of dietary fats, sweetened food, fast food, soft drink, dan physical activity. | id |
