dc.description.abstractThis research aimed to analyze nutritional status, nutritional adequacy, and physical fitness of adolescents based on a type of transportation that used to school. Design used for this study was a cross-sectional with random sampling with 15 subject of walker group, 13 subject of bikecycle group, and 15 subject non walker-bikecycle group. The data collected includes data of individual characteristics, food consumption, nutritional status, physical activity and physical fitness. The result showed no significant assosiation between BMI and nutritional adequacy (p>0,05) except nutritional adequacy level of iron (p = 0.026) on three groups type of transportation that used to school. Physical activity and physical fittness on bikecycle group is higher than the other groups. This study showed no significant association between gender, age, BMI, physical activity, nutrient intake with score of physical fittness (p>0.05). The results of a multiple regression showed that gender, age, and physical activity is positively associated with physical fitness of subjects (25.7%) and moderate correlation (R = 0.507).en
