Degenerative disease such as diabetics requires safe and long-term medical treatments. The aim of this study was to measure blood glucose and liver glycogen status of 15 alloxan-induced Wistar rats which allocated into three groups, namely: (1) mahagony coffee group which had an intervention of coffee beverage with addition of mahogany seed extract, (2) coffee group which had an intervention of coffee beverage without addition of mahogany seed extract, and (3) control group which had no intervention of any coffee beverage. After 21 days of intervention, blood glucose level of control group changed positively, whereas blood glucose level of coffee group and mahagony coffee group changed otherwise. The intervention had an significant difference (p<0.05) to blood glucose level of rats. Blood glucose level of control group was significant difference (p<0.05) with coffee group and mahagony coffee group Nonetheless, blood glucose level between coffee group and mahagony coffee group was no significant difference (p>0.05). Moreover, the 21 days of intervention was given no significant difference (p>0.05) to liver glycogen level.en
