dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to analyze the association between food consumption, physical activity and nutritional status with blood pressure and glucose on undergraduate students major in nutrition sciences. The design was a crosssectional study with 120 subject consisting of 17 male and 113 female students. The results showed that the prevalence of hypertension was 7% and there was no student suffering diabetes mellitus. Frequency of eating habits as salty and sweet snacks, salty and sweet of processed, instant foods and fatty foods consumed only 1-2 times/week. There was 64.2% subject had a percent contribution of fat in higher categories and 99.2% subject had sufficient sodium intake. There was 81.7% subject had light activity lifestyle. There was 95.8% subject had normal BMI, 96.7% subject had normal waist circumference and 95% subject had normal waist hip ratio. The multiple logistic regression showed there was no a significant relationship between gender, family medical history, frequency of eating habits, food consumption, physical activity and nutritional status with blood pressure and blood glucose (p>0.05). | en |
