      Pengetahuan, persepsi dan penerapan diet penurunanan berat badan pada mahasiswa putri

      Abstract
      Tujuan penelitian adalah mengkaji pengetahuan, persepsi dan penerapan diet penurunan berat badan pada mahasiwa putri. Desain penelitian ini cross sectional study dengan subjek seluruh populasi mahasiswa putri program studi sarjana Ilmu Gizi di Institut Pertanian Bogor dari tingkat 1 hingga tingkat 4 yang masih aktif dalam perkuliahan dan bersedia untuk diambil datanya. Hasil studi menunjukkan sebagian besar subjek (55.6%) memiliki pengetahuan diet dalam kategori sedang. Sebagian besar (54.8%) subjek memiliki persepsi positif terhadap diet penurunan berat badan. Sebanyak 15.6% dari 372 subjek melakukan diet penurunan berat badan, sebagian besar subjek (56.9%) melakukan diet rendah kalori, namun masih ada subjek yang melakukan diet kontroversi, yaitu 1.7% melakukan diet golongan darah, 6.9% melakukan diet Food Combining, 10.3% melakukan Obsessive Corbuzier’s Diet, dan 24.1% melakukan diet lainnya. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan (p<0.05) antara pengetahuan diet dengan persepsi diet dan terdapat hubungan antara praktek diet dengan status gizi. Ada perbedaan nyata pada pengetahuan diet (p<0.05) antar seluruh tingkat.
       
      The aim of this study was to assess the knowledge, perceptions and implementation of weight loss diets on female undergraduate student. The cross- sectional study was applied in female undergraduate student of Nutrition Sciences at Bogor Agricultural University 1st-4th grades who are still active in the lecture and were willing to take the data. The results showed that the dietary knowledge in the majority of subject was categorized as medium (55.6%). Most subjects (54.8%) had a positive perception of weight loss diets. There were 15.6% of the 372 subjects practice in weight loss diets, most subjects (56.9%) doing a low calorie diet, but there are still subjects doing diet of controversy these are 1.7% do blood type diet, 6.9% do diet Food Combining, 10.3% do Obsessive Corbuzier's Diet, and other diets 24.1%. There is a significant relationship (p<0.05) between the perceptions of dietary and dietary knowledge and there is a relationship between dietary practices and nutritional status. There was a significant difference in knowledge of diet (p<0.05) between all grades.
