dc.description.abstract | This research aim to examine the consumption of fruit and vegetable on elementary school children according to different socio-economic status in Bogor City. This research used the design of cross sectional study. Subjects taken in random who represents students who are registered in 20 elementary schools in Bogor City. There were no difference between the frequency of fruit and vegetable consumption of students in both groups of social economy. The contribution of vitamins A and C from fruit and vegetable consumption and the adequacy of the students were still low. There were no correlation between socio-economic families with the frequency of fruit and vegetable consumption, but there were a correlation between family size with vegetable consumption frequency, mother's education with the contribution of vitamin C in vegetable, and allowance with the contribution of vitamin C from vegetable consumption of students. There were no correlation between fruit and vegetable consumption frequency with the nutritional status of students. | en |
