dc.description.abstractThis study were aimed to analyze energy, nutrient intake and physical activity of overweight and obese elementary school student and correlation between energy, nutrient intake, physical activity and family characteristics of students with nutritional status BMI/U. A cross sectional study of 99 subjects was conducted. The intake of energy, protein, fat and carbohydrate was 1777 kcal, 57 g, 53 g and 340 g. Most of the students were deficit of energy, fat, calcium, phosporus, vitamin A, vitamin C and fiber, while protein, carbohydrate and iron were adequate. Physical activity levels of students classified mostly light or sedentary activity. There was no significant relationship between energy and macronutrients intake with BMI/U (P> 0.05). There was a significant correlation between the nutritional status of IMT/U with a family income level, father's education and maternal education (p<0.05).en
