dc.description.abstractFood consumption cost is the costs spent by anybody to meet their food requirements. However, the food expenditure is not always in accordance to the nutrient obtained. This study aimed to analyze food consumption cost and its association to nutrient sufficiency level on Immigration Academy. A cross sectional study of 63 Taruna was conducted. The result showed there was no correlation between family characteristic (education and income of their parents), individual characteristic (age, sex, and income of Taruna) and food consumption cost of taruna, but there was correlation between occupation of taruna’s father and food consumption cost of taruna. There was correlationbetween foods consumption cost and energi and protein sufficiency level. However, there was no correlation between food consumption cost and fat and carbohydrate suffiency level.en
