dc.description.abstractPuberty is transition period from childhood to adulthood and marked by rapid growth, including the development of sexual characteristics. The objective of this study was to analyzed the association of percent body fat and nutritional status on sexual development in adolescence girls in urban and rural areas. This study used cross sesctional study design inolved 100 students of 8th grade junior high school. The sampling method used Cluster Random Sampling. There are differences in pocket money, family member, parental education and income, nutritional status (TB/U), age of menarche and breast growth between subject in rural and urban areas. Statistical analysis showed a correlation between nutritional status (BMI/U) and percent body fat, nutritional status and sexual development and percent body fat and sexual development (p<0.05).en
