| dc.description.abstract | Body image is the picture of individual physical appearances and the following feelings, to a part or their whole body based on their own perception. Many girls do not feel satisfied with their own appearance. The objective of this study was to understand the association of body image and diet behavior, food consumption, and nutritional status in girl adolescents. The design of this study was cross sectional. The subjects in this study was girl adolescents on 10th grade in each 2 high schools in rural and urban areas. The sampling method used was Cluster Random Sampling and the number of subjects was 104 students. The Spearman correlation analysis showed there was a significant correlation between anemic status and nutritional status (p<0.05). However, there was no significant correlation between body image with diet behavior, food consumption, nutritional status, nutritional knowledge, and anemic status with the level of iron adequacy (p>0.05). | en |
