dc.description.abstractAll populations at risk of osteoporosis, especially in the elderly population. Symptoms include low bone density and spinal deformities. Bone mineral density is important to predict risk of osteoporosis. Poor food consumption or combination of dietary intake and low physical activity would increase risk of osteoporosis.The objective of this study was to analyze relationship between food consumption and physical activity with risk of Osteoporosis in Elderly of the Panti Werdha Bogor. The design of this study was cross sectional and the data was collected during March-April 2013 period. The number of sampels obtained as many as 37 elderly. The result showed that the sufficiency level of energy and protein were normal, fosfor was in sufficient category and calsium classified as defficient category. The correlation test showed that the sufficiency level of energy, protein and fosforhad no significant relationship with risk of osteoporosis. However, there was a relationship between the sufficiency level of calsium and physical activity level with risk of osteoporosis.en
