dc.description.abstractThe objective of the research was to analyze the correlation of food consumption, physical exercise habit and their effects on haemoglobin levels of female students at SMPN 27 Bekasi. This research used cross sectional study. The number of samples were 90 female students aged 13–15 years old. This research used food semiquantitative frequency questionnaire and anaemia status with haemoglobin level. A large number of students were in normal anaemia status (84.5%) while the rest was anaemia (15.5%). Average energy consumption was 1506±532 calories. Average protein consumption was 60.6±35.5 g. Average Vitamin A consumption was 741.6±698.0 RE. Average Vitamin C consumption was 68.0±67.9 g. Average iron consumption was 22.3±16.9 mg. Most students showed non regular excercise. The frequency of excercise was once a week, with excercising duration of 30 to 60 minutes. Spearman‟s correlation showed that there was a relationship between the consumption of mangoes with haemoglobin levels with negative correlation value (p<0.05). Spearman‟s correlation showed that there wasn‟t a relationship between the exercising habits and haemoglobin levels p(>0.05).en
