dc.description.abstractPrague, Czech Republic, has 3 different water treatment facilities, which are Káraný, Želivka, and Podoli. Each facility uses different source of water as well as water treatment technology. Water produced must be in accordance with standards set in Czech Republic Ministry of Health Decree No. 252/2004. Moreover, results of analysis on Prague tap water quality in the period of Mei 2012-Juli 2012 had shown that all parameters are fully comply with the standards. Furthermore, quality of the tap water is compared with what industries have prerequisited. Prague tap water fulfill the needs of vegetables and fruits industries, but haven’t meet vegetables canning industries and cheese industries requirements. Vegetables canning industry needs to reduce nitrate in Prague tap water until it comes to 5 mg/l, meanwhile cheese industry to reduce calcium and total microorganisms content in such water.en
