dc.description.abstractElderly is the last phase of human life cycle, in this phase occurred many changes physically and mentally (Soejono et al. 2000). Breakfast and exercise can contribute energy to increase heart and lung endurance. The study aimed to identify breakfast habits, nutritional status, health status and heart and lung endurance of the participants of elderly exercises activity in Bogor. Cross sectional study was applied in this study. A total number of 30 elderly exercises activity in Lembaga Lanjut Usia Indonesia (LLI), Bogor was actively participated in this study. The study showed that 66.7% elderly always do breakfast. In terms of nutritional status of both groups (male and female), 60.0% belongs to normal category, obese 36.7% and underweight 3.3%. The health status between male and female elderly are considered high but the female’s medium heart and lung endurance status is much higher than the male respondents. Statistical analysis by Spearman correlation test showed that there was no significant relationship exist between breakfast habits with nutritional status, breakfast habits with heart and lung endurance, and health status with heart and lung endurance (p>0.05), but nutritional status with heart and lung endurance showed significant relationship (p<0.05).en
