      Abstract
Indigofera zollingeriana is shruby legumes becomes a popular high quality forage sources to improve ruminant animal productivity in Indonesia. Problem of Indigofera development is mainly due to low seed availability. The main obstacle of seed management that influences seed stock is storage. This experiment was set up to find out the appropriate combination level of carbon dioxide and storage time of Indigofera seed. The experiment used factorial completely randomized design (4x3) with four replications. The first factor was four level of CO2 injection consisting of A0= 0%, A1= 10%, A2= 20% and A3= 30% and the second factor was the period of time storage composed of: B0= 0 week, B1= 1 week and B2= 2 weeks. Observations were done at 3 different times, when the age of the sprout were 4, 7 and 14 observation days. The result showed that interaction between CO2 injection and storage time significantly influenced (P<0.05) viability and hypocotile length at 14 observation days, but not significantly affected the parameters for germinating seeds observed at 4 and 7 observation days. Significant effect of storage time was found for all parameters at 4 and 7 observation days. There was not significant effect of CO2 injection for viability and fungi growth at 4 and 7 observation days.
