      Abstract
      This research aim was to evaluate the effect of feeding pelleted complete feed based on the leaves of Indigofera zollingeriana and Leucaena leucocephala to blood hematology and serum protein concentration in male rabbits New Zealand White. Twenty male rabbits 4-6 months old were classified into five groups. Five different feed treatments were administered to the animals, i.e.: RO (commercial rabbit feed) 30% Leucaena leucocephala and 0% Indigofera zollingeriana), R2 (20% Leucaena leucocephala and 10% Indigofera zollingeriana), R3 (10% Leucaena leucocephala and 20% Indigofera zollingeriana), R4 (0% Leucaena leucocephala and 30% Indigofera zollingeriana). Parameters measured were dry matter intake, crude protein intake, total erythrocytes, total leukocytes, differentiation of leukocytes, hemoglobin levels, hematocrit values and total blood protein. The data obtained were analyzed by ANOVA and then continued with Duncan test. Overall, the feed based on Indigofera zollingeriana and Leucaena leucocephala did not significantly influence any change in feed consumption, erythrocytes, leukocytes, leukocyte differentiation, hemoglobin, hematocrit value of the rabbit, and total blood protein.
       
      Kelinci merupakan salah satu ternak penghasil daging yang dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan protein hewani. Dalam usaha budidaya kelinci, ransum yang berkualitas merupakan salah satu faktor yang menentukan produktifitas ternak, namun dalam penyediaannya masih mengalami hambatan, antara lain mahalnya harga ransum dan bahan baku pakan. Indigofera zollingeriana sebagai salah satu jenis legum yang tinggi kandungan protein kasar dan mineralnya diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi kelinci. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pemberian pelet berbasis Indigofera zollingeriana dan Leucaena leucocephala pada ternak kelinci dan pengaruhnya terhadap gambaran profil darah dan konsentrasi pada serum protein kelinci jantan peranakan New Zealand White.
