An all-time high in the Indonesia Composite Index (IHSG) is perceived as a market signal that encourages investment continuance. This study analyzes the effects of IHSG all-time high perception and social media exposure on fear of missing out and stock investment continuance, with financial literacy as a moderating variable, using data from 399 investors analyzed through variance- based structural equation modeling. The results show that both IHSG all-time high perception and social media exposure significantly increase fear of missing out, which together with financial literacy significantly increases investment continuance. Fear of missing out partially mediates the effect of IHSG all-time high perception and fully mediates the effect of social media exposure on investment continuance, while financial literacy does not moderate this relationship. These findings emphasize the importance of financial literacy and investor awareness in Indonesia.
