dc.description.abstractTaekwondo merupakan olahraga yang membutuhkan kondisi fisik optimal, termasuk komposisi tubuh yang sesuai untuk menunjang performa atlet. Komposisi tubuh atlet dapat dipengaruhi oleh konsumsi pangan, frekuensi latihan, dan citra tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan citra tubuh, frekuensi latihan, dan konsumsi pangan dengan komposisi tubuh atlet taekwondo PPOPM Kabupaten Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan 21 atlet berusia 13–18 tahun sebagai subjek. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengukuran langsung dan kuesioner, meliputi citra tubuh, frekuensi latihan, konsumsi pangan menggunakan food recall 2×24 jam, serta komposisi tubuh berdasarkan persentase lemak tubuh dan massa otot. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan antara tingkat kecukupan energi, protein, lemak, dan karbohidrat dengan persentase lemak tubuh dan massa otot (p<0,05). Sementara itu, frekuensi latihan dan citra tubuh tidak berhubungan signifikan dengan komposisi tubuh (p>0,05). Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya pemantauan konsumsi pangan dalam menjaga komposisi tubuh atlet taekwondo.
dc.description.abstractTaekwondo requires optimal physical condition, including appropriate body composition to support athletic performance. Body composition may be influenced by dietary intake, training frequency, and body image. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between body image, training frequency, and dietary intake with body composition among taekwondo athletes at PPOPM Bogor Regency. This cross-sectional study involved 21 athletes aged 13–18 years. Data were collected through direct measurements and questionnaires, including body image, training frequency, dietary intake using 2×24-hour food recall, and body composition based on body fat percentage and muscle mass percentage. Data were analyzed using the Spearman correlation test. The results showed significant relationships between the adequacy levels of energy, protein, fat, and carbohydrate with body fat percentage and muscle mass percentage (p<0.05). Meanwhile, training frequency and body image were not significantly associated with body composition (p>0.05). These findings indicate the importance of monitoring dietary intake to maintain appropriate body composition among taekwondo athletes.
