dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik keamanan pangan di rumah pada ibu dengan kejadian diare pada baduta. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional dan melibatkan 40 ibu dengan baduta. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi karakteristik ibu dan baduta, kuesioner keamanan pangan dari WHO Five Keys to Safer Food Manual, dan riwayat diare baduta sebulan terakhir. Sebagian besar (60%) ibu berusia 21-30 tahun, (45%) berpendidikan terakhir SMA/K, dan (90%) tidak bekerja. Sebagian besar (85%) keluarga memiliki pendapatan di bawah UMK Kabupaten Bogor dan (60%) keluarga berukuran sedang. Sebagian besar (60%) baduta berjenis kelamin perempuan dengan rata-rata usia 14,0±4,9 bulan dan (70%) memiliki status gizi berdasarkan BB/U di kategori normal. Diare terjadi pada 25% baduta dengan rata-rata frekuensi 1,4±0,7 kali dan durasi 2,8±1,5 hari. Hasil tabulasi silang menunjukkan terdapat kecenderungan, ibu dengan pengetahuan dan sikap keamanan pangan yang lebih baik memiliki praktik keamanan pangan yang lebih baik. Sementara itu, usia ibu yang lebih tua, pendidikan dan pendapatan keluarga yang lebih tinggi, serta ukuran keluarga yang lebih kecil cenderung memiliki pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik keamanan pangan yang lebih baik. Pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik keamanan pangan ibu yang baik cenderung memiliki risiko kejadian diare yang rendah, meskipun seluruh uji korelasinya tidak signifikan (p>0,05).
dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to analyze the relationship between mothers' food safety knowledge, attitudes, and practices in households with the incidence of diarrhea in infants. This cross-sectional study involved 40 mothers with infants. Data collected include mothers' and infants' characteristics, a food safety questionnaire from the WHO Five Keys to Safer Food Manual, and infants’ diarrhea incidences in the last months. Most mothers (60%) were aged 21-30 years, (45%) were senior high school graduates, and (90%) were unemployed. Most families (85%) had incomes below the minimum wage in Bogor Regency, and (60%) had medium family size. Most infants (60%) were female with an average age of 14.0±4.9 months and (70%) had normal nutritional status by WAZ. Diarrhea occurred in 25% of infants with an average frequency of 1.4±0.7 episodes duration of 2.8±1.5 days. The cross-tabulation showed tendency for mothers with better food safety knowledge and attitudes to have better food safety practices. Additionally, older mothers, higher education and family income, and smaller family sizes tended to have better knowledge, attitudes, and food safety practices. Mothers with better knowledge, attitudes, and food safety practices tended to have a lower risk of diarrhea incidence, although all correlation tests were not statistically significant (p>0.05)
