      Abstract

Changes in consumption patterns during the Covid-19 pandemic, supported by technological advances and the internet, have led to an increase in the use of online food delivery in Indonesia. This application service makes it easy for consumers to buy food without leaving the house. However, if its use is uncontrolled, it will cause problems of consumptive behavior. The occurrence of consumptive behavior is triggered by the emergence of lifestyle concepts related to characteristics and financial literacy. This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of characteristics, lifestyle, and financial literacy on the consumptive behavior of students who use online food delivery. The research was conducted in the Jabodetabek area. The number of research samples was 210 respondents determined by purposive sampling technique. The method used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the characteristics of age, gender, and financial literacy had a negative effect while the characteristics of pocket money and lifestyle had a positive effect on consumptive behavior. Students can be wiser in managing expenses and adjusted to their needs.
