| dc.description.abstract | According to Food Insecurity Atlas, Banjarnegara is included of insecurity food area. In this area, there are food security household and food insecurity household. Food insecurity household is need the strategy to maintain the food intake. The general objective of this study is to analyze household food coping strategy in food insecurity area, Banjarnegara, Central Java. The specific objectives are to identify sosio-economic characteristics of household, to identify history of food insecurity in food security and food insecurity household, to analyze correlation of food coping strategy level with socio-economic characteristics of household and levels of household security. A descriptive analytic study with cross sectional approach was conducted on 2 areas (Pejawaran and Punggelan) of Banjarnegara. Sample was chosen with simple random sampling which consists of 300 household with children 2-5 years old. Data collected include : socio-economic characteristics of household, history of food insecurity,household food coping strategy, level of household food security, and nutritional status of under-five children. Descriptive analytic was carried to all variables followed by bivariate test using Spearman correlation. In correlated analysis, sosio-economic characteristics (parents education level, total of expenditure ), was significantly negative correlated with level of food coping strategy. The age of mother was significantly positive correlated with level of food coping strategy. Level of household food security was significantly negative correlated with level of food coping strategy. | id |
