      Abstract
      Produksi kopi oleh perkebunan rakyat tidak diimbangi dengan pengetahuan petani yang cukup dan penggunaan teknologi yang memadai. Oleh karena itu, kualitas dan produktivitas kopi Indonesia relatif rendah dibandingkan dengan negara lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukenali akar permasalahan rendahnya pendapatan petani kopi Cisentar, mengidentifikasi keunggulan internal kopi Cisentar, dan merekomendasikan strategi peningkatan rantai nilai kopi dalam upaya pemberdayaan petani kopi dari hulu ke hilir. Studi kasus pada penelitian ini adalah kopi Cisentar yang berasal dari Desa Mekarjaya, Kabupaten Bogor. Teknik pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan penentuan responden menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data yang terkumpul diolah menggunakan analisis fishbone diagram, analisis VRIO, dan analisis rantai nilai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kopi Cisentar memiliki tiga akar permasalahan utama (pasar, pembiayaan, dan pemberdayaan), kopi Cisentar memiliki keunggulan internal berkelanjutan, dan terdapat tiga program peningkatan rantai nilai kopi Cisentar.
       
      Coffee production by smallholder plantations must be balanced with sufficient farmer knowledge and technology. Therefore, the quality and productivity of Indonesian coffee is relatively low compared to other countries. This study aims to identify the root cause of the low income of Cisentar coffee farmers, identify the internal advantages of Cisentar coffee, and recommend strategies to improve the coffee value chain to empower coffee farmers from upstream to downstream. The case study in this study is Cisentar coffee originating from Mekarjaya Village, Bogor Regency. Data collection techniques in this study used qualitative methods by determining respondents using purposive sampling methods. The collected data were processed using fishbone diagram analysis, VRIO, and value chain analysis. The results showed that Cisentar coffee has three main root problems (market, financing, and empowerment), Cisentar coffee has sustainable internal advantages, and there are three programs to improve the Cisentar coffee value chain.
