Indonesian local chicken is the most widely kept by the community because it can meet the economic needs and source of animal protein but with very low productivity. IPB-D1 chickens are a new family of local chickens that have improved genetic quality. IPB-D2 and IPB-D3 chickens are descendants of IPB-D1 chickens that are selected to become candidates for new strains with a good level of body resistance and rapid bodyweight growth. This study purposes to assess the percentage of the non-carcass weight of IPB-D2 and IPB-D3 chickens at different slaughter ages. The chickens used were 100 DOC IPB-D2 G3 and 100 DOC IPB-D3 G1. The research was conducted from September to December 2021 at the Laboratory of Animal Breeding and Genetics Field, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Bogor Agricultural University. The observed variables were head weight, claws, total intestine, liver, gizzard, heart, and kidney. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive test and t-test. The highest percentage of the non-carcass weight of IPB-D2 G3 chickens was found at 12 weeks of age (24,26%) and IPB-D3 G1 chickens at 11 weeks of age (25,78%).id
