      Abstract
      Pola asuh dan kesehatan mental anak menjadi salah satu kekhawatiran bagi para orang tua di Indonesia. Mudahnya penyebaran informasi membuat orang tua sulit mendapatkan informasi parenting yang akurat dan terpercaya. Eltern sebagai inovasi aplikasi parenting hadir untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi masalah yang dihadapi, merancang model bisnis sebagai solusi atas masalah yang ada, dan merancang prototype bisnis. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah design thinking dan customer discovery. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat sebelas masalah yang dirasakan responden dalam mencari informasi yang akurat dan Eltern memberikan solusi berupa 5 fitur yang dirumuskan berdasarkan masalah yang ada. Fitur tersebut divisualisasikan kedalam prototype yang berbentuk mockup aplikasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan business model canvas Eltern yang telah terverifikasi berdasarkan tiga aspek yaitu kesesuaian produk dengan pasar, cara menjangkau pelanggan, dan cara bisnis menghasilkan uang.
       
      Parenting and child’s mental health is one of Indonesian parents concern. The easy dissemination of information makes it difficult for parents to get accurate and realible parenting information. Eltern as a parenting apps innovation present to solve the problem. This study intent to identifiy problems encountered, build a business model as a solution to existing problems, and build business prototype. The approach used in this study is design thinking and customer discovery. Based on study result, there is eleven problems felt by respondents in finding accurate information and Eltern provides a solution in the form of 5 features that are formulated based on the existing problem. These features visualized into prototype in the form of application mockup. This research generate a verified Eltern’s business model canvas based on three aspects which is product-market fit, how to reach customer, and how business generate money.
