dc.description.abstractPT GPS adalah produsen bakso yang baru berdiri, berusaha beradaptasi dan bertahan dalam menjalankan bisnisnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kondisi persaingan terhadap industri bakso dan karakteristik konsumen bakso PT GPS dan (2) merumuskan rekomendasi strategi bertahan untuk bisnis bakso PT GPS. Metode yang digunakan adalah five forces porter, empathy map, dan sketch strategy. Analisa five forces porter menunjukkan bahwa persaingan antar perusahaan dalam industri bakso, ancaman barang substitusi dan daya tawar pembeli kuat, sedangkan ancaman pendatang baru dan daya tawar pemasok lemah. Analisa empathy map memperlihatkan bahwa konsumen sudah memiliki preferensi dan ekspektasi. Rekomendasi strategi mempertahankan bisnis adalah melakukan ekspansi dengan menargetkan business to consumer, menguatkan kembali citra merek, membuat loyalty program untuk mitra bisnis (business to business), melakukan integrasi dari hulu ke hilir, meningkatkan peninjauan terhadap aspek biaya dan penjualan secara berkala, meningkatkan saluran komunikasi online, memperluas jaringan kerjasama distribusi business to business.id
dc.description.abstractPT GPS is meatball company that is newly established, trying to adapt and surviving on running its business. This study aims to (1) identify and analyze the competitive conditions against the current meatball industry and the customer characteristics of PT GPS and (2) formulate recommendations for survival strategies for PT GPS. The methods used were five forces porter, empathy map, and sketch strategy. Analyzing by five forces porter showed that competition among meatball industries, substitute goods and the bargaining power of buyers is strong, whereas the threat of new entrants and the bargaining power of suppliers is weak. Analyzing by empathy map showed that customers already have preferences and expectations. Recommended survival strategies are expanding by targeting business to consumer, reinforcing brand image, create a loyalty program for business partners (business to business), integrating from upstream to downstream, observing review of costs and sales regularly, improving online communication channels, expanding business to business distribution networks.id
