dc.description.abstractMasalah stunting masih menjadi masalah gizi utama di Indonesia. Masalah gizi khususnya pada balita dapat disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, salah satunya adalah ketahanan pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kejadian stunting pada balita, ketahanan pangan wilayah, dan kecenderungan hubungan indikator ketahanan pangan wilayah dengan kejadian stunting di Kabupaten Garut. Data yang diolah merupakan data sekunder dari dinas-dinas terkait di Kabupaten Garut selama tahun 2015-2019. Data disajikan secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan prevalensi stunting dalam 5 tahun terakhir menurun sebesar 1,27%, dari 7,67% pada tahun 2015 menjadi 6,4% pada tahun 2019. Rata-rata ketersediaan energi dan protein di Kabupaten Garut tahun 2015-2019 sebesar 4.383 kkal/kap/hari (183% AKE) dan 121,9 gram/kap/hari (193,5% AKP) dengan rata-rata skor PPH ketersediaan sebesar 74,3. Akses pangan secara fisik sudah baik akan tetapi, secara ekonomi dan sosial masih belum baik. Rata-rata tingkat kemiskinan di Kabupaten Garut (10,8%). Proporsi pengeluaran pangan masih lebih besar dibanding proporsi pengeluaran non pangan. Konsumsi energi dan protein di Kabupaten Garut sudah terpenuhi secara baik dengan rata-rata konsumsi energi dan protein sebesar 2.116 kkal/kap/hari (98,7% AKE) dan 56 gram/kap/hari (98,2% AKP). Walaupun demikian, konsumsi pangannya belum beragam dengan rata-rata skor PPH sebesar 72,8. Tingkat kemiskinan cenderung berhubungan negatif dengan konsumsi pangan. Konsumsi pangan juga cenderung berhubungan negatif dengan angka kejadian stunting.id
dc.description.abstractStunting is one of the most big nutrition problem. Stunting, pasticularly among underfive children, is affected by many factors, one of them is food security. This study aimed to analyze stunting among underfive children, regional food security, and their correlation tendencies. Secondary data analysis was done to data from the local government offices of Garut Regency 2015-2019. Data were presented descriptively. Results of the analysis show that in the last 5 years prevalence of stunting decreased by 1.27% from 7.67% in 2015 to 6.4% in 2019. Average of energy and protein availability in Garut Regency in 2015-2019 was 4,383 kcal/cap/day (183% RDA) and 121.9 gram/cap/day (193.5% RDA) with average PPH score of availability was 74.3. Physical access for food was adequate, unlike the economic and social access. Average poverty rate in Garut Regency was 10.8%. Proportion of food expenditure was greater than the proportion of non-food expenditure. Energy and protein intake in Garut Regency was adequate, shown by average energy and protein intake of 2,116 kcal/cap/day (98.7% RDA) and 56 gram/cap/day (98.2% RDA), respectively. However, diversity of food intake was still poor with an average PPH score of 72.8. Poverty rate tends to be negatively associated with food consumption, while food consumption tends to be negatively associated with prevalence of stunting.id
