Plastics based petroleum cause environmental problems because it is difficult to be degraded. This is an opportunity for the bioplastics development. One of bioplastics that has a great potential to be developed is polyhydroxy alkanoate. Polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) gained great attention from the industry as biodegradable plastic and can be widely used. The main objective of this research was to analyze technical and technological aspects that include the availability of raw materials, mass balance, determination of production capacity, types of technologies and equipment used, layout of the factory, and to analyze the financial aspects that include Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C), and Pay Back Period (PBP). Production capacity analyzed using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was 10% of the total production of Indonesian bioplastics (40.000 ton PHA/year). The financial aspects analysis results shows that the polyhydroxy alkanoate (PHA) industry was feasible. The financial aspects values were investment in fixed assets (Rp 506.338.077.433), working capital (Rp144.450.247.396/month), NPV (Rp 522.964.988.066), IRR (17,75%), net B/C ratio (1,27), PBP (5,38 years), BEP (16,88 %).
