dc.description.abstractThe opportunity of dried fruit market in Europe in average is about 45% from global import volume. These opportunities were caused by inexpediency of Europe’s climate for tropical crops and as tropical country, Indonesia had opportunity to export commodities like mango, papaya, pineapple, guava, and ginger. The result objective were determining of optimum location, location factors, production capacity, and dried fruit industry’s layout analysis. Methods of this research are location candidates determining, questionnaire distributing, production capacity determining, transportation load total calculating (load distance model method), location alternatives evaluation (composite performance index and bayes method), and department layout analysis in dried fruit industry. Industry’s capacity are about 1,596 ton/year (product) or 9,493 ton/year (raw material). Factors to choose location include raw material cost, clean water access availability, waste water acces availability, and salary cost. Choosen location was Kediri Regency. Need area width were 4,790.60 m2.id
