Bogor is the one important city that have a high demand of meat in jabodetabek area. Bogor is divided to districts and the city which have population 5 202 097 and 1 019 013 resvectively. Capita consumption of meat are 3.65 grams day-1 and 22.08 grams day-1. This research was conducted by survey , then analyzed by descriptive and counted the location quotient ( LQ ). The LQ value of Bubulak slaughter house was 4.26 and Cibinong slaughter house was 3.11 which greater than one (LQ>1), this data showed a second slaughter house were the base of meat production in Bogor. The LQ value of Galuga slaughter house (0.62) and Jonggol slaughter house (0.74) less than one (LQ<1), that means both as a second slaughter house with non base meat production in the Bogor area. Meat production of each slaughter house of Bubulak, Cibinong, Galuga, and Jonggol distributed in Bogor area with each production are 5 250.99 kg day-1, 3 827.25 kg day-1, 765.45 kg day-1, and 918.54 kg day-1. The total daily demand of meat in Bogor District was 19 003.26 kg and the Bogor City was 22 369.48 kg. However, the meat production of government slaughter house distributed to Bogor area is 10 762.32 kg day-1. The government slaughter house could have self sufficient as the potential meat provider in Bogor with the value of slaughter is optimized of slaughter capacity.
