Hubungan Interaksi Suami Istri dengan Kualitas Perkawinan pada Keluarga Poligami (Analisis Kasus di Kota Bekasi)

Abstract

This study focused on the type of polygamy that’s mean the marriage of one husband with two or more wives. Facts showed that the number of divorces occur because the practice of polygamy. The aims of this study were to identify characteristics of polygamous families, husband wife’s interaction and marital quality of polygamous families; to analyze the relationship between husband wife’s interaction with marital quality of polygamous families. This research used descriptive and inferential analysis (spearman correlation and different t-test). The respondents were thirty wives of polygamous families in Bekasi who were selected purposively. The results found that the husband-wife interaction of polygamous families were in good condition. Marital quality of polygamous families in this study showed good enough. There was a positive significant relationship between marital interactions with marital quality of polygamous families.
