dc.description.abstractResearch aimed to evaluate the effect of mung bean sprout waste as grass subtitution and different feeding time management (morning and evening) through the performance of Garut lamb in intensive system. About 16 heads of Garut lamb with the average body weight 15.06 ± 2.41 kg were analyzed in 2x2 factorial randomized complete block design. The first factor was different feed formula consist of R1 (consentrate 60% + grass 40%) and R2 (concentrate 40% + mung bean sprout waste 40%). The second factor was different feeding time consist of P (morning) and S (evening). The result of statistic analysis showed that R2 had significant effect (P<0.01) in DMI, CP, and TDN consumption. Different feed formula had significant effect (P<0.01) in ADG, so that the different feeding time and the interaction with different feed formula also had significant effect in ADG (P<0.05). Feed efficiency of R2 was higher (P<0.05) than R1. Mung bean sprout waste had better palatability than grass so that it enhanced the performance of Garut lamb with better feed efficiency.en
