dc.description.abstract | Employee engagement is the one of the important factor that is currently widely used by companies to increase productivity. Employees will be engaged if the company can manage well and give a support to employees, one of them through career development system. The purposes of this study are to know employees’ perception about the career development system and employee engagement in PT Pupuk Kaltim, and analizing the effectiveness of the career development system in improving employee engagement. Data that used in this study are primary data and secondary data. This study uses analysis of linear regression and processed by SPSS 16.0 and Microsoft Excel 2010. Employees’ perception about the career development system and employee engagement showed that career development system has been done well and employees has high level of engagement. The result of regression analysis showed that competency assessment and qualification jointly effective in improving employee engagement and only competency assessment individually effective in improving employee engagement. | en |
