Abstract

Basic and chemical industry is one of the sectors included in the branches of the manufacturing industry that produces raw materials for further processing into finished goods so it can stimulate the productivity of society. This sector has an important role in economic growth in 2012. Receivables management can effectively reduce liquidity risks and it can increase profitability. This research aims to (1) Analyze financial performance condition of basic and chemical industry sector companies at IDX based on receivable ratio, liquidity, and profitability of company (2) Analyze influence of Receivable Turn Over (RTO) and Average Collection Period (ACP) component to liquidity and profitability basic and chemical industry sector companies at IDX. This study use the data base of a company's from chemical industry sector in 2012 and analyze using SEM. RTO and ACP are factors that loading of the latent RVB. CR and QR are the factors that loading of the latent LIQUID. NPM, ROA, and ROE are factors that loading of the latent PROFIT. The results showed that receivable management factors do not significantly influence the liquidity but do not influence the profitability.
