Konsep Diri, Fungsi, dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga Cina dan Betawi di Kelurahan Sukasari, Kecamatan Tangerang, Kota Tangerang
Abstract
This study examines the relationship and influence of self concept, family functions, and family well-being of Cina and Betawi families in Sukasari Village, District of Tangerang, Tangerang City. Respondents in this study were the husband and wife of two family groups who conducted by purposive each of 30 families. Data were collected by interview with a questionnaire. The results show that there is a significant positive relationship between husband-wife’s education level with husband-wife’s self concept. Significant correlations also found between husband-wife’s self concept, husband-wife’s education level and family functions. Husband-wife’s age has a significant positive relationship with objective well-being. There is a significant positive relationship between husband and wife’s education level, husband-wife’s self concept and family functions with subjective well-being. Factors that affect objective wellbeing was husband’s age, while the factors that influence subjective well-being were husband's self-concept and family functions.
