The research was conducted to study the reproductive efficiency of cows at the Lembu Jantan Perkasa breeding farm and to find out the relationship between breed used for artificial insemination (AI) with the calf birth and wean weight. Reproductive efficiency on the Days Open (DO), Service per Conception (S/C), Conception Rate (CR), Calving Interval (CI), calf birth weight, calf wean weight, calf sexes, and calf breed phenotype were observed. Sixty six cows, were used as a sample belong to replacement stock, obtained from imported cows from Australia (brahman cross) and inseminate with brahman, limousin or simmental semen frozen from Singosari artificial insemination centre. Result demonstrates a high CR (84%) with only 1.30 S/C. The CI was only 369.44±28.37 days and DO 80.84±13.86 days respectively. Birth weight of the calf which was inseminate with simmental demonstrated significantly higher (P<0.05) compare to brahman and they was no significantly different between limousin and brahman.
