Peran Gender dalam Pengambilan Keputusan dan Kesejahteraan Subjektif pada Keluarga Usia Pensiun

Abstract

This study is aimed to analyze the relationship between gender roles in decision-making with subjective well-being at retirement age family. This study used cross sectional design and involved 154 families with retired husband or wives aged over or 56 years old and selected purposively. Data were collected by interview using questionnaire and was analyzed by descriptive, independent sample t-test, and and Pearson correlation. Education attendance and family’s income were positively significant associated with gender roles in financial management. Number of family dependents were positively significant associated with gender roles in bussiness management. Pearson correlation test results showed that family’s income associated significantly with the economic well-being of the family. The results also demonstrate the role of gender in bussiness management activity is negatively related to the economic subjective well-being of retirement families.
