dc.description.abstract | The habitat of shallow water is currently in serious threats resulted by human activities and natural impacts. The information of the shallow water conditions can be known by remote sensing, one example was the habitat of shallow water classification mapping using high resolution satellite imagery. The purpose of this study was to classify habitat of benthic communities using different composite imagery and the results of water column correction imagery. Classification methods used supervised classification with a classification scheme of habitat 14 class. Classification accuracy results benthic habitat of shallow water that were of 40,28% (567 on the composite of canal) and 50,34% on the Lyzenga transformation of the canal at 1 (427,3 nm) and 3 (546,2 nm). The value of the accuracy of the results into 7 classes were 52,08% (colour composite) and 62,76% (Lyzenga algorithm). Accuracy results fairly represented the basic habitat mapping in shallow waters. | en |
