Seismic technology is a method of acquiring data on the structure of the earth's subsurface using acoustic principles. Results of the recording not only of primary signal, but also a noise that will affect the interpretation. Multiple reflection is one of the existing noise in the seismic data. In this study using data obtained from the Center for Research and Development of Marine Geology (PPPGL) Bandung. The method used by a Surface Related Multiple Elimination (SRME) have assumes that the data contains multiple related to surface than made a file multiple prediction and then subtraction the multiple. Results with and without SRME processing shows the differences in seismic display. Data before SRME seen that the data still has multiple. After using SRME the multiple was reduced. Multiple still exist in the data path including multiple long path multiple. Based on these results that the SRME is an effective method to reduce the presence of multipleen
