P (Acosutic Doppler Current Profiler) is an instrument used for recording the movement (direction and velocity) of sea current. Data recording was held for two years from July 2010 until December 2012 in the Halmahera sea. Recorded data that was processed and analyzed for this study is data recording from 26 July 2010 to 27 September 2010. Research goal is to analyze tides, tidal current, and relation between tide and tidal current in Halmahera Sea. Then data processed and analyzed by MATLAB with Harmonic Analyzed Least Square method . Processing of data consists of graphic depictions from current vector (stick plot), tide type and harmonic constituent determined, harmonic constituent of tidal current determined, and relation between tide and tidal current occur. Tide type is mixed tide prevailing semidiurnal with a Formzahl value 0.68. The tidal range of Halmahera sea is 120.6 cm. The avarage movements of current were northward during high tide period and westward during low tide. When flooding occur the current was going to the north, while ebb occur the current was going to the west.en
