dc.description.abstractMilk production in Indonesia did not been able to meet all consumer needs. Production and composition of cow's milk could be improved in various ways. Several studies in the UK showed that using classical music can make cows feel calm. Therefore, this study was carried out to determine the effect of classical music on the production and composition of milk. The study was done for 45 days, divided into 3 periods: pretreatment period, treatedperiod, and post period of classical music. The results showed that there was a significant increased in milk production. Tests on the milk compositions parameters of protein, lactose, solid, and density was not significantly different (P> 0.05), but the fat content was significantly increased (P <0.05).en
