Generally performance of sheeps are influenced by genetic and environmen-tal factors. Feed is one of environmental factor, which can influence the growth. The aim of this study was to evaluate performance of thin tail sheep and garut sheep that gave field grass, concentrates and sprouts waste. This study used six thin tail sheep (16.27±0.86 kg, CV = 5.29%) and 6 garut sheeps (10.68±1.82 kg, CV = 17.04%) with two treatments of feed, there were field grass + concentrates (P0) and field grass + sprouts waste (P1). Weight gain, feed intake and feed efficiency were measured parameters. This study used CRD (completely randomized design) size 2x2 factorial with three replicates and the data were analyzed with analysis of variance (ANOVA). Daily weight gain and feed convertion was not affected to feed treatment and sheep breeds, but feed consumption was influenced by this factors. Dry mater intake of thin tail sheep (505.54±43.59 g/d) was higher than garut sheeps (316.45±45.37 g/d). Feed consumption of sheep to feed P1 (437.28±116.89 g/d) was higher than P0 (384.71±100.45 g/d). This was indicating that more sprouts waste palatabel ration and can be used as an alternative feed concentrates. Thin tail sheep has a better performance than garut sheeps, visible from ADG, feed intake and feed conversion.en
