dc.description.abstract | The aimed of this study was to evaluate the technique of handling the carcass and non carcass at the abattoir, and to analyze the distribution of carcass and non carcass from an abattoir to the consumer. Data obtained from the observation of activities and interviews with owner and enterpreneurs of marketing using a questionnaire instrument. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the pig abbatoir Jeletreng, Gunung Sindur, Bogor has not check antemortem and postmortem; application of hygiene and sanitation not done well, packaging products made using plastic and no separation between the carcass and non carcass. The distribution line and marketing of carcass and non carcass pigs from producer to consumer marketing agencies that involve contractor merchants and retailers. | en |
