Kepuasan Kerja Istri Pada Keluarga dengan Suami Istri Bekerja Menurut Jenis Pekerjaan dan Alokasi Waktu Kerja
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the differences of job satisfaction of wives in dual earner families. The sample in this study are dual earner families that had children with maximal aged 9 years old. The sample was selected by stratified non proportional random sampling of 160 people in catagory of formal and informal jobs with working hours maximal 8 hours/day and more than 8 hours/day. The result of research showed that satisfaction of wives has reached approximately 70 percent of job satisfaction indicators which husband’s support were the highest satisfaction and the lowest were satisfaction in work place particularly on progress of jobs or buisness. Job satisfaction of wives in the formal sector higher than wives who work informally. However, there were no significantly differences in job satisfaction based on work times alocation of wives.
