Kampung chicken is often cultivated in Indonesia in semi-intensive and extensive. This chicken has slower growth than broiler. A four weeks kampung chicken old has weight 0.20 kg while broiler has weight 1.2 kg, but kampung chicken could digest crude fiber more than 5% of the nutrient content of the feed. Rice and cassava are widely grown in lowland as well as highland and their residual processing can be used as feed. The purpose of this study was to investigate the performance of kampung chicken fed rice bran and cassava leaves. Rice bran and dried cassava leaves were stirred in warm water before feeding to the chickens. Treatment feed was given to the chickens aged 5-12 weeks (P2) and 8-12 weeks (P3) in pasta form. The control (P1) was given commercial feed at the age of 0-12 weeks. The analysis showed the feeding method influences the body weight of kampung chicken. The highest body weight showed in P1 with lowest feed conversion. The lowest body weight showed in P2 with highest feed conversion. Treatment P3 resulted body weight and feed conversion between P1 and P2. The highest mortality (13.33%) showed in P2. Rice bran and cassava leaves were good to give to kampung chicken in 9 weeks to replace commercial feed.en
