| dc.description.abstract | Brown-Marbled grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus) is a reef fish that have high economic value and is now cultured in the Sembilan Islands Waters, Sinjai District. This study aims to determine the suitability of the Sinjai District waters for brown-marbled grouper aquaculture develeopment based on waters parameters data which includes water depth, surface temperature, DO, pH, salinity, ammonia, surface current, brightness, and high waves. The data of each parameter, as points, are mapped. Then they are formed a contour in which the predetermined the next point is processed to form the contour, which is then inserted predetermined suitability values is inserted. The next step is to overlay and analyze those results produce Suitability Region Map For the brown marbled grouper Aquaculture. Area that are very suitable for the brown-marbled grouper aquaculture (S1) covering 58,84 km2 or approximately 11,27 %, suitable (S2) covering 463,24 km2 or approximately 88,73 %. | en |
