      Manajemen Produksi dan Analisis Risiko Peternakan Ayam Broiler Plasma di Desa Ciseeng Parung Bogor

      Abstract
      Business in broiler is categorize into two systems, there are: private and partnership system. The second system is the most prefer nowdays, because the risk is fewer than private system. But, in partnership system risk productions still must be managed. The case study took place in Plasma X at Ciseeng. Management system in this broiler farm conformed with the standard operational procedure (SOP) in partner company. Three source of risk productions were: climate, disease, and predator. The highest risk probability was caused by climate, the second was disease, and the lowest was predator. Whereas, the highest risk impact caused by disease, the second was predator, and the lowest was climate. Alternative strategy to prevent climate risk is operating blower and Vitamin C. To prevent the risk from disease, SOP that contained strict biosecurity was applied. The mitigation risk strategy for disease is the correct at antibiotic use, whereas maintenance of floor and wire of stable could be implented to overcome the risk from predator.
       
      Ada dua sistem usaha ayam broiler yaitu pola mandiri dan pola kemitraan. Sistem yang kedua banyak digunakan saat ini, mengingat bahwa risiko yang dihadapi pada pola kemitraan lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan pola mandiri. Walaupun demikian, tetap ada risiko produksi yang harus dikelola pada pola kemitraan. Studi kasus ini dilakukan pada Plasma X di Desa Ciseeng. Manajemen yang diterapkan oleh Plasma X sudah sesuai dengan standard operational procedure (SOP) pada perusahaan inti. Terdapat tiga sumber risiko pada peternakan ini, yaitu: cuaca, penyakit, dan predator. Probabilitas risiko tertinggi sampai dengan terendah, secara berurutan ditimbulkan oleh: cuaca, penyakit, dan predator. Dampak risiko terbesar sampai dengan terkecil secara berurutan disebabkan oleh: penyakit, predator, cuaca. Strategi preventif untuk risiko cuaca adalah penggunaan blower dan vitamin C. Pencegahan risiko untuk penyakit dengan penerapan SOP yang memuat biosekuriti yang ketat. Sedangkan strategi mitigasi risiko penyakit adalah penggunaan antibiotik yang tepat. Mitigasi risiko predator dengan cara pengecekan dan perbaikan lantai serta kawat kandang pada setiap periode produksi.
