dc.description.abstractSoapisacleanserwhichismadewithachemicalreactionbetweenalkalinesodiumorpotassiumbaseswithacidsfromvegetableoilsoranimalfats.Theselectionoffattyacidstypedeterminesthecharacteristicsofsoapbecauseeachtypeoffattyacidswillgiveadifferentcharacteronthesoap.Inthemanufactureoftransparentsoap,glycerinisusedtoformthestructureoftransparentsoap.Inaddition,theglycerinservesashumektan(moisturizer).Basedonassessmentsbyusingtheweightingtechnique,thetypeofoleinfractionofpalmoiland10%glycerinconcentrationisthebestformulaformakingtransparentsoap.Thenatureofthetransparentsoapis11.89%asubstancetoevaporatewatercontent,35.36%fattyacidcontent,8.27%non-saponatedfractionlevels,1.16%alcoholinsolublelevels,0.30%freealkalicontentcalculatedasNaOH,pHvalue9.79,hardness3.7mm/10seconds,96.85%emulsionstability,35.87%foamstability,andthedetergency382.25FTUturbidity.Resultspreferencetestonthebesttransparentsoapformulationshowsthatthemajorityofthepanelistslikedthetransparencywithpercentageof3.67%,somewhatlikethetextureof43.33%,abitlikealotoffoamat36.67%,andprovideregularassessmentoftheroughimpressionof40%.en
