dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to analyze the role of gender, women's economic contribution and wellbeing of the family farmer horticulture that involving 30 families purposively with the criteria as a vegetable farmer husband and wife worked as a cut flower crop farmers. The data was collected through interviews by using questionnaires. Gender roles consist of domestic and public activities that include farm financial management. Economic contribution was measured by the proportion of women and family income. In addition subjective well-being was measured by the satisfaction of sample. Morever, data was analyzed descriptively and inferentially using Pearson correlation. The results showed an average of women's economic contribution of 11,3 percent. Gender roles in domestic and public activities were categorized as moderate and gender roles in farm financial management are in high category. Subjective well-being of the family generally grouped as moderate. Women's economic contribution significantly positively related to objective and subjective well-being.en
