Sistem pemeliharaan dan produktivitas sapi potong pada berbagai kelas kelompok peternak di Kabupaten Ciamis

Abstract

The research was conducted to study farming system and productivity of beef cattle from different farming groups (pemula, lanjut and madya) in Ciamis. The study was meld on July until December 2007. The research metodology included observation and interview based on questioner againts 75 farmers. The qualitative data was analysis using descriptive analysis, while the quantitive data was computed using t-Student test and Chi Square test. The research showed the differences ocured between farming groups on production management and productivity of bef cattle. The farming group of madya level showed better production management and productivity of beef cattle, compared with the other farming groups (Pemula and Lanjut) level
