dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research was to know the correlation between primary feather molting and the substitute feather and to study the age information when pigeon primary feather was molting. This research used 192 birds, the pigeons that could be used until the end of research were 91 pigeons because, 101 pigeons were died. Pigeon had 10 primary feathers. The first until ninth primary feather had a length appropriate with their numeric. The longest primary feather (P<0.01) was the ninth primary feather. The tenth primary feather was shorter than the ninth primary feather relatively. The wider primary feathers were the fifth and sixth primary feather because they located at the middle of primary feathers. The squacker age when the first primary feather molting was 33-55 days and the average was 41.82 * 6.03 days, the cxfficient variation was14.42 % . The average of squacker when the tenth primary feather molting was 196 + 65.5 days, coefficient variation was 33.42 %.en
